Official 2009 Big Hammer Challenge-Reports,Pics-Leaderboard

We're having to jump through hoops of fire to host this tournament on our website as well as a few others . The 2009 Secret Item required to have in every picture taken with a shark is the following. A tape measure spray painted neon green at every foot mark must be used to measure each shark in the Big Hammer Challenge.The neon green paint is readily available at Home Depot paint department ,,,it's the kind used in construction work. Each team fishing the tournament will be recieving a 2009 Big Hammer flag with our sponsors names on it and we ask you to please display the flag in every picture taken with a shark as a way of promoting our Proud Sponsors. A tape measure spray painted in neon green at every foot markermust be held against the shark so we can see the number of green marks between the head and the tail. OUR PROUD SPONSORS BRIDGE AND PIER FISHERMAN For the bridge and pier fisherman if you want your shark to count for the totals prize without having to beach it take a close as possible picture of your shark and place the measuring tape with the green paint in the picture.If you want your shark to count for the biggest you must beach the shark and place the measuring tape up against it's total length so we can all clearly see it's OVERALL LENGTH. WARNING Anybody who tries to submit a picture where the tape measure is not clearly visible or where the tape is behind the shark's snout,or tries to submit a devious picture will have that shark disqualified. Im worried that 8ft 3 wont hold up for biggest bull. so we need to land a 8ft8 - 9ft8 next week!!!!!

AAron i need you and meir c. to keep count of all our sharks and log were and when we catch them because i only remember the biggest. there are all kinds of awards on top of biggest like mos from beach,bridge, and pier.

AAron and meir i want you to strategize my boys!!! NEW line, longer riggins, sharpen your hooks, check for frayed line in your reels, buy tackle. Lets get ready baby this is a tournament!!! that big hammer has me pumped!!!!!! i am sick but i am ready for a keys trip tommorow already!!! so tonight is your 1 night to rest!!!!!!

Yahh you are right about that!!! it has just begun, and to tell the truth the winning fish may just be 15ft plus, like i said before its April(anything can happen.)

Im just getting the kids on my team pumped up for our next trip, they are having the time of there lives!!!!!
This tournament is one of the most fun tournaments i have fished in a long time, very well organized and put together!!!!

Looks like some great fish have been caught so far. Congrats everyone. Im looking forward to getting down to florida tomorrow morning and putting some sharks on the sand with team APEX.
